VEGAN NIGHTS!


May the 4th be with you...
...was the 'out of this world' theme for this years first Vegan Nights! Let me start by saying it has always been a dream of mine to trade at this event. My best friend and I have always attended in the past and eaten ALL the delicious Vegan food and desserts. It was amazing to have Oh My Choc amongst some of the biggest names in Vegan food! It also gave us the chance to get experimental with some new products to test out on the public. In the weeks leading up to the event, we created 4 new products. 
The Coffee Cheesecake Cloud
This product was made with the help of 2 gorgeous ladies! 2 best friends, vegan bloggers and recipe developers 'Seitan Scran'. You can find them on Instagram here @seitanscran  .They were an absolute joy to work with and you can watch this space for further collaborations! 
The 'clouds' are a chocolate ball filled with delicious fillings. They really are a labour of love to make!
The Coffee Cheesecake Cloud has a Bourbon biscuit base, coffee cheesecake filling, white chocolate drizzle and a sprinkle of bourbon biscuits on top. 
The Snickers Cheesecake Cloud is a dark chocolate ball with a buttery biscuit base, whipped peanut butter cheesecake filling, date caramel, more peanut butter, peanuts and finished with a sprinkle of sea salt on top! It's safe to say that these were a huge hit. They sold out first (no surprises there!) 
The Honeycomb and Speculoo's Cloud is a dark chocolate ball, filled with our signature Honeycomb and Biscoff Nougat, drizzled with Biscoff spread and a big sprinkle of sea salt.
The Ferrero Rocher Brownie Ball does exactly what it says on the tin! Our delicious chocolate fudge brownie recipe, cooled and rolled into balls, dipped in melted chocolate with roasted hazelnuts and sea salt.
All these newbies were joined by old favourites such as the Peanut Nougat Bar and the Honeycomb and Speculoo's Tiffin bars. 
(Me at the end of the night with hardly any stock left!)
Current status on the clouds (as lots of you have been asking!)
I am working on getting the Clouds stocked on the website! It will take a bit of time to get the right sized boxes and a bit of testing to ensure they travel well by post. They are a bit more fragile and delicate than the bars, so this is really important. Any of you who were lucky enough to be the first tasters, I welcome any feedback/ comments on the flavour combos and textures.
